Let's suppose Fast & Furious was not a program gone bad, but rather it was exactly what was intended, that is without the death of a Border control officer. What if the plan was to release these guns, well aware that the Mexican cartels would use them in crimes, then intensify the campaign to restrict and ultimately eliminate access to guns for Americans. Is it possible the real target was our 2nd Amendment? The Bible clearly teaches that in the last days there will be a One World government controlled by a single individual identified as the Antichrist (see my previous blogs). This coming One World government cannot not will it allow guns to exist. Throughout history every dictator who has come to power has confiscated guns as well as anything that could be used as a weapon.
I am not a conspiracy theorist but I am a student of the Word of God. As such I see clearly how the world stage is being set for the fulfillment of Bible prophecy. In addition I want to remind us these things do not happen suddenly, but rather like a sunset. As one stands and watches the horizon, the sun slowly begins the process of dropping out of sight. Bible prophecy events tend to unfold in the same manner. That said, many Christ followers are now seeing things rapidly falling into place that will facilitate these prophesied events.
I doubt seriously that anything of consequence will happen to Eric Holder or the President, who may or may not be directly complicit in this tragedy. However, I have no doubt we are living in the last days and that America is on the Fast and Furious track to our demise! Four Reasons This Generation Could be the Last
Almost every day I talk to people about the soon coming of Christ. The vast majority of the time I hear the same responses over and over again. When speaking with someone who is not a believer and who does not attend a church regularly the response is one of skepticism, doubt and outright indifference. When I speak to people who claim to be believers and who attend a church regularly the response is one of skepticism, doubt and outright indifference. That's right, I get the same response from both groups! The majority of the world today never believed the world was coming to an end last May, nor do they believe it will happen on December 21, 2012 as the supposed Mayan calendar reveals (according to today's news archaeologist have now discovered new evidence that refutes the idea of the world's demise anytime soon. I find this interesting since I always tell people the Mayans wrote their calendars on rocks, they ran out of rocks, GET OVER IT!)
The idea that there will be a day of judgment, a day of reckoning for all humankind, that man really is not the center of the universe but God is, has long been the recipient of ever increasing mockery. That said, I want to take this opportunity to simply point out 4 very relevant reasons our time is different from previous ones.
First, we are the people who have witnessed a Miracle. The Miracle is that a nation separated from its land for nearly twenty centuries reemerged and today is a viable home to its Jewish inhabitants. On May 14, 1948 God made good on His numerous promises to deliver the Jewish people back to their historic homeland and their nation was re-born. This event was a game changer! Why, you will need to read my latest book, It Could Happen Tomorrow, to get the rest of the story.
Second, we as a people have and are experiencing the explosion of technology. Thanks to Al Gore's invention of the Internet we are living in a new world. Time travel really is possible as we watch events unfold in real time on the opposite side of the globe. No one can deny that this new world in which we live is unlike previous times. We today understand things such as bio-chip implant technology and RFID's. We know we live in a surveillance society. Cameras are everywhere and we have grown accustomed to the idea of being watched and in fact, many in our day enjoy the very idea of this intrusion into our privacy. Headlines: more intrusiveness is on its way in an attempt to, "make us more safe".
Third, we now have rogue terrorist nations in possession or soon will be of nuclear weapons and this truly is a game changer! We are the generation who now lives with the constant, ever present reality that the world could be destroyed by religiously driven nut and no, it is not the evangelical Bible believers, nor the Tea Party patrons who pose this threat.
Fourth, the spiritual condition of the "church" in America is a telling indicator of the loss of our moral compass (the following comments do not apply to 100% of the churches but to a far greater number than most will admit). One need only read a days worth of news to see how far we have moved away from the truths and commands of God's Word, the Bible. The Church has replaced the exhortation to Preach the Word with a monologue of feel good warm fuzzies and the resulting in a generation of Biblical illiterate people who could care less what God (if He exists) thinks about anything.
If any of what I have said is true and it is. What are we to do? Great question. Here is God's answer, For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son and whosoever believes (trusts, relies totally upon) in Him should not perish but have everlasting life (John 3:16)
The Mayan calendar is a joke but the Word of God is true and the clock is ticking. Jesus Christ, God in the flesh is coming soon. Is He coming for YOU? Just my thoughts.

The Mark and You
In my tireless effort to see world events through a Biblical lens, that is a 3rd dimension as opposed to just the socio-economic lens, I am once again reminded of the accuracy of the Word of God. The Bible clearly informs the interested reader of just "how" the world will be monitored and controlled in the coming years. The Revelation records in Chapter 13 verse 16-18 that a coming world leader will require a Mark to be taken and without said Mark one cannot survive. I explain in detail in my new book, It Could Happen Tomorrow, (New Leaf Press) how our generation is the first in world history to possess the technology to facilitate this coming reality. To further my case I have just learned that the 1.2 billion inhabitants of India will soon be inducted into a new nationwide biometric identification program directed by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI). This program will use three forms of information- fingerprints, iris scans and facial recognition. As always the programs proponents tout the many benefits of such a program omitting the inherent danger to individual freedoms and privacy, not to mention the many additional adaptations that will come later. Most of the time when I share information like this it is discounted and largely ignored. But one day, the reality of this is going to begin to dawn on some people as to just how exact God's Word is and that it is the only reliable source for what tomorrow holds for this world and it's inhabitants.
